To Add a New Property Using a Concatenate Expression

  1. In the main component mapping dialog, scroll to the end of the property list, and check the first checkbox in the first empty row.
  2. Type a property name.
  3. Click in the empty field under the Component Name column. Click the resulting drop-down menu to display two options:
    • Concatenate properties …
    • Truncate properties …
  4. Select Concatenate properties…
  5. In the dialog box that opens, click the Add button. This is the same dialog functionality as selecting a SourceUniqueId property. Valid property types are any property from the current open i-model, any fixed character, and file name metadata.
  6. Adjust the order of the objects as desired and select OK when finished.
